My name is Micaela Dominique Seraphina Alaniz. I am 26 years old and have lived in Chicago my entire life.

Online I’ve mostly been Icarus The Bright and Micada.

I graduated from Loyola University in 2007 with a BA in Communications, concentration in Marketing. I recently earned a MA in New Media Studies from DePaul University.

I am involved in Chicago Electronic Music and Arts Coalition and own the promotions / PR company SixPoint Chicago LLC.

I live in the Wrigleyville neighborhood of Chicago, IL and grew up alternately in Pilsen, Lakeview, and Roscoe Village.
